Ahead of #Nigera’s #2023Elections, the European Union @EUinNigeria through its @EU_SDGN programme is supporting the Institute for Media and Society to engage the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) on strengthening the Commission’s work towards delivering her regulatory functions within the framework of the electoral process.
The two-day session which was attended by senior officials of the NBC created the opportunity for the stakeholders to hold and deepen conversations around broadcast regulatory autonomy, media freedom, fight against #fakenews, #hatespeech as well as responsible broadcasting.
