The retreat provided an opportunity for these organizations to reflect on their activities and exchange best practices to improve monitoring and evaluation frameworks.

The event focused on ensuring that all partners align with the overall goals of the EU-SDGN programme. While the participants discussed how to tackle challenges encountered during implementation, and stakeholder engagement.

Speaking at the retreat, the EU-SDGN Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Denis Mutabazi emphasized the importance of effective M&E systems, stating, “This retreat allows us to ensure that our partners are delivering measurable results in line with the EU’s objectives of strengthening democratic governance in Nigeria. By reviewing our collective progress and refining our strategies, we can ensure the programme’s continued success.”
