Journalists’ Observers Training

The Journalists’ Observers Training ahead of the Ekiti Governorship Election is designed to strengthen journalist-observers capacity in election monitoring, reporting, and safeguarding electoral integrity. The training covers the use of monitoring templates and digital reporting tools, as well as strategies for identifying and documenting misinformation and disinformation. It will also address the safety of journalists and observers in the field and include a simulation exercise to test participants’ preparedness and response. The programme aims to promote credible and transparent election coverage in Ekiti State.
