Ekiti Guber Poll – Strategic Media Engagements

To strengthen electoral transparency and expand public access to verified information, IPC and CEMESO under the EU‑SDGN Situation Room, Component 4: Support to Media, will implement a coordinated set of activities for the Ekiti Governorship Election. These activities include field journalist engagement and deployment, media appearances on radio/TV, operation of a live dashboard for real‑time data, election‑day fact‑checking, a security hotline for journalists, and a miniature studio for live interviews and rapid broadcasts. Collectively, these interventions aim to enhance credible reporting, counter disinformation, safeguard journalists, and ensure citizens receive timely, fact‑based updates throughout the Ekiti poll.
